Loosen the driveaxle/hub nut, then loosen the front wheel lug nuts, raise the front of the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands before removing the wheel. Next, remove the brake disc and the driveaxle/hub nut. Separate the control arm balljoint from the
Steering Knuckle and detach the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle. Pull the steering knuckle outward and detach the driveaxle from the hub, supporting it with a length of wire to prevent overextension of the inner CV joint. Remove the hub/bearing assembly mounting bolts from the rear of the steering knuckle and take out the hub/bearing assembly. If the driveaxle splines stick in the hub, push the driveaxle out with a two-jaw puller. For installation, reverse the removal process and tighten all fasteners to the proper torque values. For the rear, loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, raise the rear of the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands before removing the wheel. Remove the wheel speed sensor and the brake disc. On AWD models, loosen the rear driveaxle hub nut, then remove the hub and bearing assembly mounting bolts. Take out the hub and bearing assembly, and if the driveaxle splines stick in the hub, use a puller to push the driveaxle from the hub as the hub and bearing assembly is removed from the
Trailing Arm. For installation, reverse the removal process and tighten all fasteners to the proper torque values.
