Where is the Crankshaft Position Sensor located and how to remove and install it on Nissan Sentra?

The CKP sensor is on the right side of the cylinder block near the transaxle end of the engine and on some models a heat shield covers the sensor. If present, the heat shield attaching bolt should also be removed together with this heat shield. Then, unscrew the electrical connector of CKP sensor, followed by the removal of the bolt and pulling the CKP sensor out from the engine block. First, check the state of O-ring before placing the new sensor, in case it has cracks or tears, it should be replaced. The installation process on the other hand is done in a reverse order to the one used during removal.
