You need to first clear the fasteners on the lower engine cover to get started on Titan front bumper removal. If fog lamps are equipped, remove them. You need to do three things to take off the steel bumper: remove the radiator
Grille, loosen fasteners on the bottom of the bumper, and then detach the valance piece (if your car has one). After that, undo the fasteners that hold the intake grille down onto the bumper and pull it off. Unscrew the bumper's side bracket fasteners, then take off the brackets. Afterwards, unscrew and remove each of the upper and lower mounting fasteners to remove the whole bumper. Good install means getting everything tight after putting things back together. Beginning with the plastic type, get rid of the pushpins and screws hiding below the intake grille, then lift off the plate holder and bracket. First take out the radiator grille and, if included, lose the filler panels from the bumper by removing their nuts. First, pull back the front section of fenderwell liner, then remove the fasteners on the cover between the fenderwell liner and the lower body. Carefully disconnect any connecting wires, then untighten all fasteners at the bottom and top before using help to safely pull off the bumper cover. You need to reverse installation, and make sure all fasteners stay firmly in place. To take out the rear bumper, undo the electrical cables for the license plate lights and sonar sensors if they're there, then unscrew the bolts holding the tow hitch to the frame and pull off the hitch, also disconnecting the trailer connector if you mounted it to the hitch. First, lift the step pad, then disconnect the clips from under the bumper with your fingers. Detach the bumper first, then take off the fasteners that hold it to the bumper reinforcement. Also remove the screws fixing the bumper reinforcement if needed. Putting it back together requires tightening all bolts or screws that keep things in place.
