How do you remove and install the Tailgate Handle on Nissan Titan?

Open the tailgate and take out the bed liner panel by removing the fasteners and pushpins. Next, take off the access panel by unscrewing the mounting fasteners. Pop open the plastic retaining clips and detach the rods from the handle, which involves the control rods and handle mounting nuts. Remove the mounting nuts to detach the handle from the tailgate. For the lock cylinder, unscrew the mounting bolt to remove the retaining bolt and slide the lock out from the handle assembly. To take out the latch, remove the bolts and withdraw it from the side of the tailgate while keeping the control rod attached. If both latch assemblies are being removed, support the tailgate from below, as the support cables will also be taken out. Installation follows the reverse order of removal, ensuring all fasteners are tightened securely.
