- Q:How to remove and install a throttle body? Posted by Customer
- A:Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the engine cover. Remove the air duct between the throttle body and the air filter housing. Clamp-off the coolant hoses to the throttle body, then disconnect them. Disconnect the electrical connector from the throttle body. Loosen the throttle body mounting bolts a little at a time in a criss-cross pattern to prevent distortion. Remove the throttle body. Installation is the reverse of removal; use a new throttle body O-ring if the old one is not in perfect condition. Tighten the bolts a little at a time in a criss-cross pattern to the torque. Reconnect the battery and perform the necessary re-learn procedures.Posted by NissanPartsDeal Specialist
