    - Refitting is a reversal of removal. - Ensure the rotary connector has not been turned and the insulating tape is still in position. - Ensure that the road wheels are in the straight-ahead position before refitting. - If in doubt about the position of the rotary connector, turn it clockwise to the stop, then anti-clockwise approximately two and a half turns until the arrow appears in the window, indicating it is centralised. - Ensure the rotary connector wiring harness is correctly routed before refitting the steering column shrouds. - Refit the steering wheel and the airbag unit.
