    To uninstall the switch to install a new one, you will need to lift the car and support it properly first. Then, remove all the wiring connections of the switch that you have connected at the beginning of the process. When undoing the switch from the four transmission housing, ensure you put a drain pan to collect the fluid that may spill. For installation, do the reverse of the above-stated removal process and check the level of the fluid and if the switch has a mounting gasket, make sure to fit it.
