All models have inertia reel 3 point diagonal seat belts for all seats in the car. Were there indications of wear on the belt and possible defects, examine the clip and retractor functioning, and check the mounting bolt; it will be observed that the bolts are shouldered to provide for the rotation of the belt anchor points. Any time that there is an indication of damage or uncertainty regarding a belt's condition, it must be replaced. If there has been a collision, in this case, all used belts at the time of the collision must certainly be replaced, and all the other belts require an attentive inspection. To clean the belts use warm water and non-detergent soap, but do not use chemical cleaners, strong detergents, dyes, or bleaches. Do not hang the belts with the hooks touching the belts and do not use any heat in conditioning them.

For easier access, remove the relevant front seat and the centre pillar trim panels.
