To elicit the components, you have to first, remove the cotter pin, and unscrew the driveaxle hub nut. Then remove the wheel lug nuts, lift the car and place jackstands, after which you can remove the wheel. Subsequently, one should unbolt the brake disc and then unbolt the wheel speed sensor from the knuckle.Take off the driveaxle/hub nut and pull the tie-rod end off the steering knuckle. Loosen the strut to steering knuckle nuts but do not remove the bolts and then disconnect the control arm ball joint from the steering knuckle. Loosen the driveaxle and then separate it from the steering knuckle; use wire to hold the free end of the driveaxle to avoid over bending the CV joints. Take out the bolts that hold the knuckle to the strut and pull the knuckle away from it; similar to that, to separate the hub to the steering knuckle, take the bolts joining the two parts and remove the brake disc splash guard. It is during the assembly procedure that the hub, knuckle, and the splash shield should be joined and the bolt tightened to a given torque. Apply multipurpose grease on the splines of the drive axel, align the knuckle and hub assembly into position and then insert the drive axel into the hub. Force the knuckle into the strut flange while inserting bolts and nuts on their threaded respectively, but leave the bolts and nuts slightly loose. Fit the control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle and bolt the tie-rod end to the steely knuckle arm after tightening the tie-rod end nut and strut to knuckle nuts to the recommended torque. Tighten a new cotter pin through the tie-rod end ballstud. Next, fit the brake disc against the hub; install the caliper; securely tighten the driveaxle/hub nut to the recommended torque; fit the wheel and the lug nuts; then lower the vehicle and finally tighten lug nuts to the correct torque.
