How do you remove and install the stop light switch on Nissan 240sx?

Before you can either replace or completely uninstall the switch, you have to remove the negative battery cable and the wiring connector of the switch. Next unscrew the switch lock nut followed by the switch itself from the circuit board of the mp3 player. When installing the switch, should be setting such that the brake light is on only when the brake pedal is stirred. For adjustment, you have to alter the clearance between the brake pedal and the stop lamp switch or the ASCD switch by loosening the lock nut and adjusting the switch, and for Stanza models from 1982-84 it should be 0-1.0mm and for all other models, and Stanza it should be between 0.30-1.00mm. The stop light switch should be set in such a way that it does not engage each time the brake pedal is released.
