- Q: How to Replace and Install Fuel Injectors and Fuel Rail in the Nissan 350Z?A:Remove the engine cover, fuel tank cap, and battery cable. Drain the coolant and remove the air intake duct and intake manifold plenum. Detach the fuel supply line and pulsation damper, unplug the connectors from the fuel injectors, and clean around them. Remove the mounting bolts, fuel rail and injectors, then the 0-rings and the pulsation damper. Coat the new 0-rings with oil and install them on the injectors. Install each injector into the fuel rail. Clean the injector bores in the intake manifold, install the fuel rail mounting bolt spacers, and reconnect the fuel supply line, then turn on the ignition switch and look for leaks.
