How to disconnect and remove the windshield wiper motor and bell crank assembly on Nissan 350Z?

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the windshield washer hoses and remove the wiper arm retaining nuts, ensuring not to disconnect the hose from the wiper arm. Mark the relationship of the wiper arms to their shafts before removing the wiper arms. Remove the cowl cover. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper motor by depressing the release tab and pulling off the connector. Remove the windshield wiper motor and bell crank assembly mounting bolts, lift it up, detach the wire harness clip, and remove the assembly. Using a panel removal tool, disconnect the link rod from the bell crank arm. Remove the nut that secures the bell crank to the motor shaft, then remove the crank arm from the wiper motor shaft; if stuck, use a small puller. Remove the windshield wiper motor mounting bolts and take the wiper motor out of its mounting bracket. Installation is the reverse of removal.
