On Armada models, remove the access cover, then disconnect the electrical connector and the lines from the fuel pump/fuel level sensor module. On Titan models, there is no access cover. Working in the gap between the top of the fuel tank and the underside of the vehicle, remove the fasteners that secure the fuel pump/fuel line protector and remove the protector. Then disconnect the electrical connector and the fuel line from the fuel pump module. Disconnect the fuel tank filler neck hose and the EVAP breather line quick-connect fitting. The fuel tank filler neck hose clamp and the EVAP breather line quick-connect fitting are located on the left underside of the vehicle, just ahead and inboard of the left rear wheel well. Support the fuel tank securely. Remove the fuel tank retaining strap fasteners, remove the straps and carefully lower the fuel tank. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten the fuel tank strap bolts securely.
