How to raise and support the rear of a Nissan Armada and remove the rear shock absorber?

Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands placed underneath the frame rails. Block the front wheels so the vehicle doesn't roll off the stands. On Armada models, remove the fenderwell liner. If you're working on Titan, support the rear axle with a floor jack placed under the axle tube closest to the shock absorber being removed. If you're working on an Armada, support the rear lower link with a floor jack placed under the outer end of the lower link. Remove the shock absorber upper and lower mounting fasteners. Remove the shock absorber. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten all fasteners. Note: This procedure does not apply to Armada models equipped with a rear auto-leveling suspension.

The Nissan Armada Shock Absorber is designed to control suspension movement, reducing bounce, body roll, and dive while keeping ride comfort.
