How to remove and install the grille for Nissan Maxima?

The first step for the 2003 and earlier models will require the hood to be opened to do the following, remove the plastic clips or bolts and nuts that hold the sides of the grille to the headlight assembly, this requires one to unscrew two bolts or remove two clips. After that insert three more square plastic fasteners, for the middle and three for the upper part of the grille on each side In order to tighten them, use a screwdriver to turn the securing Fasteners ¼ of a turn through the small hole at the centre of the Grille for the two upper fasteners, insert the screwdriver through the slot at the top. Conversely, each of the fasteners can be loosened in order to allow removal of them by a turning of 45 degrees. In the course of the process, initiate lifting of the cover on the top of the grille that is fixed on 2004 as well as the subsequent models, first making sure that four plastic clips that hold it are released. Then untwist the four retained clips on the top of the grille and lift the grille from the bottom tabs then pull off.
