How do you remove and install the hood latch and Hood Cable on Nissan Murano?

To remove the latch, first, take off the radiator grille. Scribe a line around the latch for alignment during installation, then remove the latch retaining bolts and the latch itself. Flip the hood latch assembly over and disengage the hood release cable. For the cable, unbolt the hood release latch and disconnect the cable from it, then remove the left inner fender well liner. Detach the cable from the clips securing it along its length and disconnect it from the release handle. Pull the cable grommet into the passenger compartment and then pull the cable through the hole. For installation, reverse the removal steps, ensuring to push on the grommet from the passenger compartment to seat it snugly in the firewall. Adjust the latch so the hood engages securely when closed and the hood bumpers are slightly compressed.
