For adjustment, again: disconnect battery and battery tray and air filter housing, place the shift lever in 'P,' slack then in shift cable-to-manual lever locknut, then put the transaxle manual shift lever all the way to Park. With the manual lever in position, tighten the locknut after that shift the shift lever from "P" to "1" to ascertain the ease of shifting and having the lighted area matches with the shift lever position. Last but not least, check that the Engine can be started only in 'P' and 'N'.
