Raise the rear part of the car and secure it firmly on jackstands put under the frame rails. Block the front wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling off them. You do not need to remove the rear wheels, but taking them off will help you access to the shock absorbers easily. Support the back axle using a floor jack put under axletube that is closest to the shock absorber being removed. Remove fasteners fixing shock absorber to upper and lower parts. Remove shock absorber. Installation is done in a reverse manner of removal activity. The torque values should be respected when tightening all other fasteners.
