To replace the outside mirrors, begin by prying off the cover that conceals the mirror mounting bolts, noting that some Armada models may have the cover secured with adhesive. For the inside mirror, first remove the trim cover from the mirror base by taking off the upper and lower trim covers, loosening the set screw, and sliding the mirror off its base while disconnecting the electrical connector. Loosen the set screw to slide the mirror off the base mount, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the mirror. Reinstallation follows the reverse order of removal. If the mounting bracket has detached from the windshield, it can be reattached using a special mirror adhesive kit found at auto parts stores; ensure to clean the glass and support base thoroughly, following the adhesive instructions and allowing the base to bond overnight before reattaching the mirror.
