Nissan 23300-AM600 Motor Assy-Starter

Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the engine undercover. On 2007 and 2008 G35 Sedans, remove the exhaust mounting bracket. On 2007 and 2008 G35 Sedans and 350Z models, disconnect the intermediate steering shaft U-joint from the steering gear and from the intermediate shaft and remove the U-joint. Remove the nut that secures the battery starter cable to the B terminal stud on the starter solenoid and disconnect the cable from the terminal. Disconnect the starter (S) connector from its terminal on the starter motor solenoid and remove the starter motor. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten the starter motor mounting bolts.

You should inspect the following regarding the starter motor and its connections: d) Examine the starter motor wiring and connections. e) Confirm the tightness of the starter motor mounting bolts.
