    What is the location and removal process for the Camshaft Position Sensor on the Nissan Titan? Posted by Lauren F.
    A:
    Locate the CMP sensor at the rear of the left (driver's side) cylinder head on 2006 and earlier models. Its reflection is shown in a shop mirror here. Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connector. It might be easier to disconnect the connector after the sensor has been removed from the head. Remove the CMP sensor mounting fastener and remove the CMP sensor. Installation is the reverse of removal. For 2007 and later models, remove the air intake duct. Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connector. The CMP sensor is located on the front of the left (driver's side) intake valve timing control solenoid valve cover. Remove the CMP sensor mounting fastener and remove the CMP sensor. Installation is the reverse of removal.

PN: 23731-6J90D Camshaft Position Sensor and you would need to order PN: 22131-4M505 for the o-ring. PN: 23731EA20D Crankshaft Position Sensor. There is not an additional part needed for this one.
