On G35 Coupes and 350Z models, lower all the windows then, pull out the cable on the negative terminal. Take off the two brackets that are associated with the covers of the steering column. To better grip the turn signal switch each 2003 through 2006 G35 sedan and 350Z model, the two locking pawls have to be depressed to pull out the switch from the switch housing and after installing the switch make sure that it clicks into place. The windshield wiper/washer switch: pulling the two locking pawls will extract the switch from the steering column assembly; the electrical connector should be depressed by a tab to be disconnected; correct installation entails the switch fitting into place firmly. Specifically for the G35 sedans of the year 2007 or later and 350Z, remove the electrical connector of the turn signal/windshield wiper/washer switch combination, remove the screws, and take out the switch properly if installed the same way, replace it in the reverse sequence.
