Where is the Camshaft Position Sensor located on the Nissan Altima?

Top of engine on the driver's side in four-cylinder engines is a mounting point for the CMP sensor. At the driver's side of the engine are located Camshaft Position (CMP) sensors which are used in four-cylinder engines. V6 engines feature two CMP sensors situated at the extreme end of each valve cover nearest to the driver. At the left end of each valve cover, you will find Camshaft Position (CMP) sensors in V6 engines. On V6 engines, if you are removing it from the rear cylinder bank disconnect the electrical connector and remove the intake manifold collector (upper intake manifold). Disconnect its electrical connector. It can be pulled out after taking off this bolt. Install it in opposite to how we removed it.
