Steering Knuckle. for those models before 2007, the front pivot bolt must be unplugged together with the two bolts fastening the rear bushing bracket; then, the control arm must be pulled out. For models, from the year 2009 and above, first, you have to take off the control arm bushing nuts and bolts then take out the control arm. Control arms should also be inspected for any cracks or tears on the front or rear bushing; if they are damaged or worn the arm has to be replaced because the bushings cannot be changed individually. Also, a control arm must run straight; if it is crooked, then it should ideally be changed and not bent back into shape. In the case of installation, we perform the reversal of the procedures used during removal, and every fastener must be tightened to the recommended torque. Last but not the lease, place the wheel back and the lug nuts tighten as required and lower the vehicle.
