- Q: Where is the CKP sensor located and how do you remove it on Nissan 350Z?A:There is a CKP sensor on the lower left front edge of the transmission bell housing. Begin by lifting the front of the vehicle and putting it firmly on jackstands. Secondly, unplug the electrical connector on the CKP sensor by pushing down release tab. Fourthly, unscrew the CKP sensor's mounting bolt and remove it from the transmission bell house. Lastly, one must take much caution if he or she has plans to use another CKP sensor in place of a damaged one. The user should avoid dropping it while keeping off any metallic substances from sticking onto its magnetic tip; also they are advised against placing it close to magnets. The opposite of detaching is attaching back again.
