Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, raise the rear of the vehicle, support it securely on jack stands, and remove the wheels. For 1993 and 1994 models, remove the bolts that attach the sway bar kit to the trailing arm brackets and then take off the bushing clamp nuts to remove the sway bar kit. In 2004 models, remove the nuts securing the links to the sway bar kit, unbolt the clamps that secure the center of the sway bar kit to the vehicle, and take it out. Inspect all clamp bushings for cracks or tears and replace them if necessary. For 2004 models, check the ball-joint ends of the links for wear and damage, replacing the links if any issues are found. Installation follows the reverse order of removal, ensuring that the ball-joint ends of the links are not cocked sideways and tightening all fasteners to the specified torques.
